Disappointment in George Lucas

I can without a shadow of a doubt point to one reason why I have been in a bad mood this afternoon.  While reading my usual news posts performing my daily ritual of colon cleansing I came across an article dealing with the release of the Blue Ray Star Wars Collection.  It was at this moment that a world wide scream of Nooooooo could be heard from my single voice within the confines of my small bathroom.  My daughter knocked on the door and asked if I was alright to which I replied, "I don't think I am, Daddy is going to be sick."  With a quick leap to the computer, after the necessary wipe, I googled the topic and found confirmation.  I actually pondered National Security at this point but decided to head into work anyway despite my depressed state.

Exercise in the Airport

I have always wondered what goes through peoples heads as they decide to do something completely out of the ordinary such as attempting to breach security in one way form or fashion.  Either by running through a picket line, jumping a fence, or in my case run through a metal detector and attempt to vanish into the thousands of passengers navigating an airport.  Honestly people, running through the checkpoint gets you nowhere as one, you will either end up on your back by being detained or shot by law enforcement(depending on severity) or clothes-lined by another passenger.  Either way your trip to where ever has just ended badly.

It is now 3:29 in the AM

I was bored so I created a colored image for Moltar.  Not exactly the best quality work by any means but it was fun taking a hand drawn sketch and giving it some color and a few wow effects.  I have to say I am really starting to grasp more and more of the power of Photoshop beyond my humble graphic design career using Fireworks.  Who knows I might actually find someone willing to give me a job doing this stuff full time.  Without too much longer to wait here is what I created tonight as I drank lots of beer.

First Entry - Scott Pilgrim vs. The World

Tonight instead of working on the website I decided to take a little mini vacation from life and take in a movie.  I feel a little guilty about it but I figured the Shrub could do without some updates to the Temple for one night.  I stopped at the mailbox and got excited when I noticed the red envelop from Netflix instantly knowing what my night off was going to entail.  Typically it would be a movie for my Daughter such as a knock off princess cartoon or maybe even another of the Land Before Time regurgitations.  To my surprise the movie app on my phone actually worked and bumped a move to the top of the list and I put Scott Pilgrim vs the World into my DVD player.
